(VOV) – A powerful storm, Rammasun, is churning through the waters off central Philippines and is expected to enter the East Sea in a couple of days.
At 07.00am on July 14, Rammasun was about 1,000km south east of Luzon Island of the Philippines, with winds gusting from 89 to 102km per hour.
In the next 24 -48 hours, the storm is forecast to change its course to move west at a speed of 20km/h and is likely to regain strength.
It is forecast to change the direction in the next 48-72 hours, packing winds of more than 133km/h near its centre.
This is a powerful storm which moves very quickly and goes complicated, according to the latest weather forecast bulletin from the National Hydro-meteorological Forecasting Centre.
