Tourists are on top of Co Tien Mountain.

To have a bird’s-eye view of downtown Nha Trang and the sea, they are advised to climb to the peak of Co Tien (fairy) Mountain.

From the downtown, they should follow Tran Phu Street to Pham Van Dong Street before reaching Hon Chong islet, where they can see Co Tien Mountain.

The best time for climbing the mountain is the early morning or the late afternoon, when visitors can admire the charm of the city at sunrise or see the whole city lit up by neon lights. The mountain looks like a lying young lady with her hair stretching down and her face heading towards another side, so it is called Co Tien (fairy).

Co Tien Mountain is not too high, with its peak around 800 meters above sea level, but climbing it is a challenge as tourists have to negotiate a narrow and sloping path. On the top of the mountain, visitors can take a panoramic view of the city.
