(VOV) – On March 30, seven Vietnamese fishermen on boat coded BTH96059 from central BinhThuan province rammed by a foreign ship arrived at the Vietnam Embassy in Bangkok, Thailand.
The Vietnam Embassy is to work with relevant agencies to finalize necessary formalities to help fishermen return home as soon as possible.
Captain Pham Linh Don said after being rammed on March 25 by a foreign ship, his ship was damaged and drifted at sea. All seven fishermen were later rescued by a Singaporean vessel QV 7194.
After bringing fishermen to Bangkok, the Embassy in Thailand provided them with accommodation, essential food and temporary passports on March 31.
