PANO – The Department of Fine Art, Photography and Exhibition (DFAPE) under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in association with the National Committee for APEC 2017, on March 3rd launched a logo design contest for the APEC 2017, which will be held in Vietnam next year.
At the launch ceremony, Head of the DFAPE Vi Kien Thanh held that the sample should represent five components of the APEC in the 21st century, namely dynamism, creativity, action, unity and movement to the future. Additionally, designers must combine the spirit of APEC cooperation and Vietnam’s cultural identity together in their entries.
All professional and amateur artists nationwide are eligible for the contest.
The organizing panel will present a first prize, worth VND 30 million, for the winning entry and it will be used as an official logo for the APEC 2017 as well as other APEC-related activities in Vietnam.
Participants can send their entries to the organizers from March 3rd to April 4th.
