Gastronomy: Entitled “Southern folk specialties,” the festival introduces local specialties of Khmer and Cham minorities in the Mekong Delta.

Traditional activities: Reproduction of the market in rural areas and floating markets, a typical cultural feature in the south.

Art show: Traditional southern opera, Khmer music in Soc Trang, and Cham music, among others.

Folk games: Instruction on how to play folk games and make folk toys using coconut palm leaves and bamboo.

Traditional crafts: Reproduction of some traditional crafts such as making local cakes.

All activities are held at the same time, aiming to create a traditional southern ambience.

About two kilometers from the city downtown, Van Thanh Tourist Site covers 77,000 square meters and has a two-hectare lake. It is available for entertainment and relaxation activities. The tourist attraction is a favorite venue for guests to rest and enjoy peaceful moments on weekends or holidays. The site can serve up to 5,000 diners at a time.
