The 11th International Travel Expo Ho Chi Minh City 2015 (ITE HCMC) will be organized at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center from September 10 to 12.

A total of 350 exhibitors from Asia Pacific have registered for this year’s show, jointly organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, HCMC People’s Committee, and the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism.

Tourism ministers of the Mekong region, which also includes Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Thailand, are expected to attend the opening ceremony.

A photo gallery, themed “Beauty of ASEAN Community” and “Amazing ASEAN,” will feature photos of major attractions and diverse cultural aspects of the member countries belonging to the Association of Southeast Asian Nations.

Several seminars will be held with leading industry speakers to provide insights on a wide range of topics and advise specific approaches to the different tourism markets globally.

Open to public and trade visitors, the exhibition will also feature art performances and promotional programs, organizers said.

Last year, ITE HCMC attracted 320 exhibiting companies from 21 countries and welcomed 22,000 international and domestic visitors, a 20 percent increase over 2013.

The Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center is located in Phu My Hung, District 7.
