Disaster Risk Management Framework Disaster Risk Management Framework, the National strategy for natural disaster prevention, response and mitigation to 2020 is presented in a table form with a total of 138 indicators divided into 10 groups, each of which corresponds with the implementation plan of National strategy approved by Prime Minister.

The Framework established by Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development is carried out by provincial committee for flood and storm control and search and rescue.

The overall goal of the Framework is to mobilize all sorts of resources to effectively perform disaster prevention, response and mitigation to 2020 for the purpose of minimizing damage to life and property, preventing the destruction of natural resources, environment and cultural heritage and ensuring sustainable national development and national security.

The Framework will help provinces to make reports and statistics of disaster types quickly and provide information on disaster-caused damage upwards to the Central Committee for Flood and Storm Control and other related ministries and sectors.
