Vietnamese artists to join Hoi An – Japan cultural exchange in Osaka

NDO – A delegation of 35 artists from the World Heritage site and Hoi An Ancient Town in the central province of Quang Nam will take part in the 12th Hoi An – Japan cultural exchange, scheduled to be held in Osaka, Japan from October 18-19.

During the two-day event, various cultural activities will be held, including an exhibition showcasing photos of Hoi An Ancient Town and Hoi An – Japan cultural exchanges, traditional music, classical drama, and traditional games.

This is the first time the event will be held in Japan, instead of Hoi An as in 11 previous years.

The programme, co-organised by the Japan-Vietnam Friendship Association and the Sakai International Exchange Association, offers a good chance for artists and the people of the two countries to exchange and share their own special cultural characteristics, thus helping boost the friendship between the two nations.
