Vietnamese players celebrate a goal in their Asian Games 2014 football match against Kyrgyztan on Monday.



Vietnam had a another victory over Kyrgyztan at the Incheon Asian Games 2014 in South Korea on Monday despite the fact that it had secured a slot at the next round after defeating Iran 4-1 last week.


Unlike defensive strategy against Iran, Japanese coach Toshiya Miura had his Vietnamese players kicking off the match with several attacks.


Both teams took turns to attack although they were qualified for the next round as Iran, the other team in Group H, left the Games after two losing matches.


At 62nd minute, Kyrgyztan defender Baimatov touched the ball with his hand in the penalty area and Minh Tuan scored a goal for Vietnam with a penalty kick.


Kyrgyztan pressured to Vietnam’s goal but no more goal was scored.


Vietnam ranked 1st in Group H and will play UAE, which ranked 2nd in Group G, at the knock-out round on Friday.
