Vietnam shooters claim silver medal at Asian Games

Vietnam clinched a silver medal in the women’s 10m running target event at the Asian Games in South Korea on Friday.

Vietnamese shooting trio Nguyen Thu Hang, Dang Hong Ha, and Nguyen Thi Le Quyen combined for 1,106 points to score the silver in the western port city of Incheon.

China shooters seized the gold with a total of 1,148 points.

Thu Hang also finished third in the individual event to secure a a bronze medal.

Meanwhile, Hoang Xuan Vinh, Bui Quang Nam and Ha Minh Thanh finished fourth with 1,734 points in the men’s team 25m center fire pistol event.

Vietnam has claimed 24 medals to rank 13 among 25 countries and territories competing at the Games by 12:00 am Friday, including one gold, six silvers and 17 bronzes.
