French visitors appreciate Vietnamese posters.

Nhan Dan Online/VNA – As many as 40 posters highlighting the vital role of Vietnamese women in all fields during the latter half of the 20th century (1954-1980) are being displayed at Quai Branly Museum in Paris, France.

The posters, mainly created by female artists, honour the great contributions of Vietnamese women to the success of the national revolution, as well as to current national construction, by developing the family economy and caring for children.

Lucien Fagni, a tourist from France’s southern Montpellier city, said the posters recalled a period when Vietnam gathered all its resources for the two resistance wars against French and American forces, including women’s remarkable contributions.

The exhibition, which will run until September 28 as part of activities during the Vietnam Year in France 2014, offers a good opportunity to international friends to understand more deeply about Vietnam’s cultural values and patriotic traditions.
