(Cinet)- As many as 40 posters highlighting the vital role of Vietnamese women in all fields in the period from 1954 to 1980 are being displayed at Quai Branly Museum in Paris, France.
As part of activities during the Vietnam Year in France 2014, offers a good opportunity to international friends to deeply understand about Vietnam’s cultural values and patriotic tradition.
The posters, mainly created by female artists, honour the great contributions of Vietnamese women to the success of the national revolution in the past as well as to the current national construction by developing family economy and caring for children.
Lucien Fagni, a tourist from France’s southern Montpellier city, said the posters recall a period when Vietnam gathered all its resources for the two resistance wars against French and American forces, including women’s remarkable contributions.
The event will last until September 28.
