Schools mobilize 1,949 units of donated blood As of February 19, the Steering Board for Voluntary Blood Donation (VBD) Mobilization received 1,949 units of blood, completing nearly 26% of the year’s plan.

Sao Do University collected 391 units of blood, Hai Duong College 176 units of blood, and Hai Duong Medical Technical University 392 units of blood.

Officials, teachers, and employees of preschools, primary schools, and junior high schools in the province donated 990 units of blood.

The provincial Steering Board for VBD Mobilization aims to receive 7,500 units of blood in 2014, up 1,700 units over 2013.
