In the morning of February 14, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Le Quang Thich worked with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism on the situation of works of the year 2013 and plans of 2014 with the representatives of related departments and sectors of the province.
After hearing the CST Director to make a report on the situation of carrying out sector’s tasks of 2013, missions for the year 2014, some proposals that need to be solved and opinions raised at the meeting, Thich praised and appreciated results gained by the Department, especially achievements got by Tourism sector, which have created changes, contributing to raising the position of Quang Ngai province inside and outside.
He also gave his high appreciation to the success of important events and festivals such as “Khao Le The Linh Hoang Sa” and Quang Ngai Sea and Island Cultural Week, Pham Thi Binh athlete with the gold medal at the 27th SEA Games, etc.
Besides, Vice Chairman of the PPC stressed that in the coming time, the Sector of Culture, Sports and Tourism needs to overcome difficulties to focus on guiding and performing activities of culture, sports and tourism in the province more and more. In which, basing on approved plans, the Sector should determine key tasks, report to provincial leaders to keep priority in important projects of the sector.
