The opening art performance of the event
In the evening of February 14th, the Quang Ngai provincial Literature and Arts Association held the Vietnam Poetry Day 2014 with a series of poetry recitals by writers across the province.
Famous writers and poets of the province such as Vu Hai Doan, Nguyen Trung Hieu, Thanh Thao, Quang Tran, Ly Van Hien, province’s leaders and lots of local people who love poetry came to attend the event.
As usual, Vietnam Poetry Day is organized yearly on Tet Nguyen Tieu (the fifteenth of the first lunar month) and it become a traditional cultural festival attracting interest of people, poetry lovers, teachers and students in the whole country.
At the event, 25 recital of famous poems and songs written or composed by local poets and writers were presented such as “Vietnam oi, chan troi rong mo” (Duc Chinh), “Mua xuan da ve” (Bui Van Ba), “Khuc Hat Song Que” (Tran Cao Duyen), “Dem rung thieng” (Tran Thuy Du), “Not nhac bien xanh” (Nguyen Quang Tran), etc.
