Teachers Receive VND1 Million in Bonus
The Department of Education and Training announced teaching staffs will receive a Lunar New Year bonus of VND1 million (US$47.4) a person.
This is an increase of VND 100,000 compared to last year. Moreover, for those heading to hometowns will receive support on train fare.
Apart from that, teachers who have poor living condition will receive an additional amount of VND 200,000.
The department will be giving bonuses to teachers in public schools. Private institutions will be providing bonuses for their own staff.
