Ready for Huong pagoda and Co Loa temple festivals

On January 16, Hanoi city Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism held working session about the preparation for Huong pagoda and Co Loa temple festivals in 2014.
At the working session, the Hanoi city Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism worked with the organizing boards of Huong pagoda festival in My Duc district and Co Loa temple festival in Dong Anh district.

Both Huong pagoda and Co Loa temple festivals will open of the sixth day of the first lunar month.

According to Nguyen Van Hau, vice Chairman of My Duc district People’s Committee and head of the organizing board of Huong pagoda festival 2014, the district coordinated with relevant agencies to improve infrastructure, set up Vo cave to Huong pagoda, and build a new ticket inspection station at Thien Tru river dock. This year, the district will plan 317 places to sell goods.

Mr. Hau said that all meats available around the pagoda are from domestic animals. There will be no wildlife meats.

So far, Dong Anh district has assigned detailed tasks to relevant organizations and individuals, and mobilized sources to organize the festival./.
