(Cinet)- On the afternoon of November 03, in Ha Noi, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized a press workshop to introduce “National Great Solidarity – Vietnam Cultural Heritage 2015″ Week at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism.
It is an activity that Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Vietnam Fatherland Front, Vietnam Cultural Heritage Association and relevant ministries. The Vietnam Cultural Heritage Week 2015 will enhance to praise the party, revolution and the capital. Particularly, “October youth” and “Hearts of Vietnam” items with the participation of 100 excellent young people attracted a large number of viewers.
The Vietnam Cultural Heritage Week 2015 will be organised at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism in Son Tay Town’s Dong Mo on the outskirt of Hanoi on November 15-23.
The event, which aims to show the strength of national solidarity and honours the cultural identity of 54 ethnic groups, will have several activities, including exhibitions and art performances.
Many ethnic groups including Thai, Kho Mu, Ta Oi, Cham, Mo Nong, Hoa and Khmer, will participate in the week. Many activities are planned, including an exhibition on the region’s farming tools, boats, household utensils, customs and musical instruments.The display also highlights culture, history, landscapes, heritage and historical relic sites through a range of objects and models.Other activities include a fashion show; folk games; and a workshop on how to preserve cultural heritage and tourism in the Mekong Delta in an attractive, sustainable manner.
Adddressing at the press workshop, Deputy Minister of Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Khanh Hai said that the Week is an annual activity of Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism in order to select a typical culture, cultural festivals of the ethnic groups.
