From April 1 to 15, 2019, business class passengers will be able to enjoy the specialties of Tay Ninh and Binh Thuan on Vietnam Airlines (VNA) flights between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

This is one of the initiatives under VNA’s “Flights of Nation” campaign to advertise Vietnam and its specialty to all passengers.
In the S-shaped country, Tay Ninh is known as one of the largest orchards, while Binh Thuan is the ‘capital’ of dragon fruit. April is the best time to enjoy these fresh fruits.
In order to ensure the quality of the fruits served on its flights, VNA has tightened supervision from the selection and collection of fruits, which are cultivated at the VietGAP standards with clean water and nutrition, then stored at 5-7 degrees Celsius to ensure food hygiene and safety. They are also preliminary processed, soaked, and sterilised before getting on board.
Previously, VNA introduced numerous Vietnamese specialties like Hung Yen longan, Luc Ngan (Bac Giang) lychee, Cao Phong (Hoa Binh) orange, green-skin grapefruit, and Hoa Loc (Tien Giang) mango. By using geographically-protected products, VNA aims to advertise and improve the value of Vietnamese brands on the international stage, as well as adding a bit of special flavour to its in-flight meals.
