Accordingly, the port which is located at Cua Luc River put into use after more than one year of construction with total investment capital of more than VND 1 trillion.
The international port was designed with a 524-meter-long wharf to receive two large passenger ships with capacity of 225,000 GT at the same time.
Its terminal has three floors with a total area of 7,600 square meters.
The Vietnam Maritime Administration has directed Maritime Administration of Quang Ninh province in coordination with the Northern Vietnam Maritime Safety Corporation
and relevant agencies to consider license for ships and boats operating at Ha Long International Passenger Port.
