In order to gain the most prestigious aviation safety certification, JPA has met more than 900 international standards and strict practices, showing the airlines’ commitment to ensuring safety during the operation of its aircrafts.
According to JPA’s director Nguyen Quoc Phuong, the IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) certificate affirmed the airlines’ priority to ensuring the safety of its passengers and crew members, contributing to their satisfaction and comfort on all flights.
The recognition is expected to create more favourable conditions for JPA to expand its flight network and international cooperation in the coming time.
The audit covers eight areas of operational safety including corporate organisation and management systems, flight operations, operational control – flight dispatch, aircraft engineering and maintenance, cargo operations, operational security, cabin operations, and ground handling.
Currently, JPA is operating its Safety Management System as approved by the Vietnam Aviation Administration, as well as Safety Managerment Systems meeting the standards of IATA, the International Civil Aviation Organisation and Qantas Airways, flag carrier of Australia.
JPA is now operating 40 domestic and international routes to 80 destinations in 17 countries in the Asia-Pacific.
