Hundreds of houses have been meticulously painted in 2D and 3D techniques to infuse a new spirit into a fishing village at Hamlet Trung Thanh, Tam Thanh Commune, Tam Ky Town, Quang Nam Province. The old brick walls have been coated with lively images about daily activities of people in coastal communities, kids’ games and cute cartoon characters. Since its launch in June, Tam Thanh village with a variety of wall-paintings has become a tourist attraction where tourists can come for relaxation and photography.

This community art project was jointly carried out by Korean students and artists and Vietnamese students and people in the locality. The project is expected to help promote tourism in Tam Thanh Commune and raise people’s awareness on environmental protection.
