Vietnam’s spa honored as best in Asia

VietNamNet Bridge – Harnn Heritage Spa at InterContinental® Danang Sun Peninsula Resort in Da Nang City won the title of Asia’s best spa at the World Spa Awards 2016 in Italy on Monday.

The Vietnamese spa received the highest number of votes from leading experts and senior chief executives in the spa industry, travel agents, customer service users and the public, overcoming Spa on the Rocks at AYANA Resort and Spa (Bali-Indonesia), Conrad Macao Cotai Bodhi Spa at Central (Macau), Aman Spa at Amanemu (Japan) and The Spa at Four Seasons Resort Geo Langkawi (Malaysia) to win the award.

Harnn Heritage Spa was also honored the best Spa Resort of Vietnam. This is the second consecutive year that Harnn Heritage Spa was awarded at the World Spa Awards. Last year, it won the title “Best New Spa World” for its exquisite service and beautiful design.

The spa award is part of a new and dynamic awards program since 2015, initiated by the 22nd World Travel Awards to encourage a new era of growth in spa tourism.
Theawards are prestigious and are known as the “Oscars” of the global spa industry.

Harnn Heritage Spa has been praised by customers for its specialized natural treatments of Asian traditional medicine. Each course of the treatment is designed and focused on restoring the natural balance of body and mind, bringing relaxation to customers.

Designed by Bill Bensley, one of the most famous architects in the world, Harnn Heritage Spa was built in the shape of a wartime military bunker with natural light reaching every corner, and furnished in Noguchi style marble, based on straight lines and curves.

The treatment rooms offer open Jacuzzi tubs so that customers can enjoy the sea and the greenery of the Son Tra Peninsula during their treatment.

Sun Group, the spa investor, said Harnn Heritage Spa is meant to be a paradise for relaxation in a harmonious space.
