PANO – The Vietravel Cup 2016 National Tennis Championship officially kicked off on May 11th in Dac Nong province, with local encouragement.

During the 6-day event, 68 players of 19 teams from nine provinces and cities across the country will compete for medals. 50 male athletes and 18 female athletes will follow the Davis Cup and Fed Cup competition formats, respectively.
The National Tennis Championship is an annual event, which creates a chance for players to raise their skills and broaden their experiences. It is also seeks the best athletes for a national tennis team to compete in the Davis Cup in Thailand in July. In addition, it is considered a golden chance for Dac Nong province to publicize its potential for culture and tourism development to other localities across the country.
After the opening ceremony, local audiences were entertained with the first lively competitions.
