On March 10, Vice Chairman of the PPC Le Quang Thich and his delegation visited Quang Ngai Technique and Industry College.
Being established in 2007, the Quang Ngai Technique-Industry College is the first private College in the province area. The College is currently providing 08 majors at college level and 12 majors at intermediate level with 02 PhDs, 03 postgraduates and 34 MAs.
Since the establishment, the College has trained and granted diplomas for more than 6,000 students with 70-90% of them could fine stable job after graduation.
According to Mrs. Vo Thi Nga – the College’s principal, the province’s authority has allowed the school to expand the current school from 04ha up to 07ha in Truong Quang Trong ward, Quang Ngai city.
This project will be started construction in quarter 3 of 2016 with the total capital of VND 178 billion, meeting the training capacity of 5,000-7,000 student per year.
In the near future, the College will open the second school in VSIP on an area of 10ha.
The school also plans to open new majors, ensuring to provide qualified workers for industrial areas in Quang Ngai and Quang Nam province such as Chu Lai Economic Area, Dung Quat Economic Area and VISP.
In the time to come, the College will sign cooperation agreement with Colleges in Japan and Holland in labor training and exporting.
During the visiting, Vice Chairman Le Quang Thich acknowledged the efforts made by the cadres, lecturers and staffs of the school in recent years. He also reminded that the school needs to focus on the students’ output after graduation.
For the difficulties, the province will consider and promise to create the most favorable conditions for school to develop stably and strongly.
