The ceremony of handing over logistic ship to Ly Son Fishery Company was held on March 9.
Being the largest, modern steel-hull logistic ship so far, it was built by Vietnam Fishery Mechanical Shipbuilding JSC under the State Government’s Decree No 67.
Namely Ly Son 168 ship, it was built at a total of 32 billion dong, of which loan from Agribank banch in Quang Ngai was about 25.7 billion dong.
The ship is 45.68 m in length, 7.69 m width, and 4.2 m height, and its capacity is about 810 CV
It is equipped with a pump with a capacity of 200 tons per hour , machine-made stone flakes from sea water capacity of 5 tons per day , the freezing warehouse, cold tunnel stainless systems and modern communication system.
It also has an aquarium and can carry 50 tons of necessities for over 30 other fishing vessels under operation offshore.
There are also pre-processing workshops for product classification; quick freezing warehouse 400C; a fish freezer storage 220C that all ensure a transportation of 300 tons of seafood from fisheries to the coast consume.
With a design and modern facilities, Ly Son 168 vessel operates in the team in order to provide basic necessities such as oil, ice , fresh water , food foodstuff , … to other ships under fishing catch offshore.
It will also combine with the job of detection fish streams and buy fishes instant from other ships to put into consumption onshore.
