The report of Quang Ngai provincial People’s Committee about social-economic situation in the first two months of the year shows that the first two-month economic situation continually increases and achieves more positive results.
Industrial production value overall 02 months reached 17.8 trillion, up 1.1 % compared to the same period last year.
Some products increased significantly compared with the same period in 2015 , such as : sugar RS , beer , ready-made garments , paper , fertilizer , confectionery , soft drinks , mineral water and purified water , white wine , wheat starch , .. .
Total retail sales of goods and consumer services increased significantly in the first months of 2016, and the 02-month result was estimated at 6.5trillion, an increase of 4.25 % over the same period in 2015.
Consumer price index ( CPI ) in Feb increased by 0.37 %, a raise of 0.75% compared with the previous month.
Regarding tasks in the upcoming times, the report shows that PPC will revise , amend , supplement and promulgate mechanisms and policies in all fields, especially attractive policies to improve business investment environment.
It will also speed up major projects in the province , such as : Da Nang – Quang Ngai Expressway; Dung Quat-Sa Huynh coastal highway; Dung Quat Refinery Expansion project’s land acquisition; and so on.
