PANO – From February 23rd, joint rescue forces are conducting the search to locate missing fisherman Le Van Hanh, 40, from trawler QNa-05506TS.
At 11.00 the previous day, rescuers of Quang Nam province got in touch with fishermen Mai Van Tu and Mai Van Tam.
Earlier, on February 21st, they found and saved fisherman Mai Van Dong, 36, a crewmember on the troubled ship, while he was adrift in the sea.
According to Dong, trawler QNa-05506TS from Duy Hai commune, Duy Xuyen district, Quang Nam province, was fishing about 6km off the coast when tough waves overturned them. Hanh is still missing.
The search continues.
