VNA to increase 800 more flights on Lunar New Year

The state-owned Vietnam Airlines (VNA) will run 800 more flights on domestic and international routes as travel demand of passengers during Lunar New Year holidays from January 26 to February 24.

800 flights including 136, 000 seats will be run on 15 domestic and seven international routes, an increase of 7 percent compared with regular schedule and 18 percent compared to the same period last year.

The routes increasing more flights include those that have high frequency of existing flights such as 192 flights for Hanoi- Ho Chi Minh City route using Boeing 787, Boeing 777, Airbus A350, Airbus A330 and Airbus A32; and 90 flights for Ho Chi Minh City – Phu Quoc/ Hue route using Airbus A321 and ATR-72…
