(Cinet)- Many meaningful events including a unique arts programme, a forum, exhibition and a ceremony has been organized to celebrate the 12th National Party Congress which will take place from January 21-28.

A unique arts programme, entitled “Forever lasting trust”, was held at the August Revolution Square in front of the Hanoi Opera House to celebrate the 12th National Party Congress on January 19.

All performances praised the Party, President Ho Chi Minh and the beauty of the country as well as reflected on the glorious history of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) over the past 85 years.

The event featured more than 300 artists, actors, actresses and musicians performing a wide variety of songs and dances.

On the same day on, a forum entitled ‘Vietnamese youth under the leadership of the Party’ was held in Hanoi by the People’s Army Newspaper, in collaboration with the Military Broadcasting Centre and the Army Youth Committee under the General Political Department of the People’s Army of Vietnam. At the forum, delegates proposed solutions to create favourable conditions for young people to develop the spirit of political thought and promote revolutionary ethics as well as actively study and make efforts to contribute to the cause of the country’s construction and protection.

On the occasion, a ceremony was held at the Duc Giang General Hospital in Long Bien district, Hanoi to inaugurate its inpatient treatment and logistics centre; the VND203.5 billion project aims to commemorate the 12th National Party Congress.

With the modern facilities in operation, the hospital is expected to treat and care for nearly 1,000 patients each day, including 500-600 inpatients.

According to the Hanoi Cultural and Sports Department, a wide range of cultural and arts activities, including arts performaces and exhibitions, will be held around the city during January 21-30 to mark the National Party Congress.
