International donors have so far provided nearly US$1.3 billion for Vietnam, focusing on urgent climate change response projects.
The Deputy PM underlined the need to make greater efforts in responding to climate change as Vietnam is one of countries heavily affected by climate change.
Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung recently attended the 21st Conference of the Parties to COP21 in Paris, France. The Vietnamese delegation made important contributions at the event and received international plaudits.
The Support Programme to Respond to Climate Change (SP-RCC), which assists the development and implementation of strategies, policies and projects aiming to effectively respond to adverse impacts of climate change in Vietnam, demonstrates the country’s strong commitment to the global fight against climate change.
