PANO – The Hanoi Department of Cultural and Sports, in association with national art troupes, will hold a number of art programs across the city on the evening of December 31st to welcome the New Year 2016.

Accordingly, the annual New Year Countdown event, scheduled to take place at 8 pm at Ly Thai To Flower Garden, will gather many popular Vietnamese and international artists and DJs.
The second countdown event, entitled “Happy New Year 2016, Thang Long – Hanoi spirit”, will be held at the August Revolutionary Square, in front of the Hanoi Opera House. Audiences will enjoy a series of songs in praise of the Party, the nation and the capital.
In addition, another art program to welcome the 12th National Party Congress will be held on the same day at the Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square.
