​Secretary of the provincial Party Committee – Chairman of the provincial People’s Council Le Viet Chu, Vice Chairman of the PPC Le Quang Thich and leaders coming from relevant departments and units on November 28 received representatives of George Washington International School (GWIS) on the education cooperation program.

​A source from GWIS said it is a 1st through 12th grade private school located in Orlando, Florida. United States and international faculty form a rich community that seeks to nurture and encourage students as well as educate them.

The goal of GWIS is to equip each student with the necessary skills needed in order to succeed in any U.S. College or University they decide to apply, and to empower them with invaluable knowledge and experience for lifelong learning.

Speaking at the working session, Mr. Le Viet Chu agreed to the educational cooperation program between GWIS with Quang Ngai province.

Chu also hoped that program would help Quang Ngai students approach the United States’ education program, and asked the provincial Department of Education and Training to check the program; to study GWIS’s program in other provinces; and to ensure the feasibility to develop the program in the province.
