It is probably the tourism promotion conference that the host had to regulate time in the most effective way thanks to the great number of people registering to raise ideas. Maybe it’s the old story about the limitations being not fixed, but it’s still the “hot” subject that the tour operators have expected in Phu Yen tourism, which is now added one romantic name: travelling to the land of “yellow flowers, green grass”.
On the occasion of Jetstar Pacific opening the back-and-forth flights of Hanoi – Tuy Hoa, the Provincial People’s Committee held the promotion conference with the participation of Vietnam Tourism Association, researchers, tourism operators and closely 70 tour operators throughout the country. Comments by delegates on the old stories of not yet overcoming limitations…, which remains still the “hot” topic that the tour operators have expected in Phu Yen tourism.
Mr. Nguyen Hong Dai shared, “Phu Yen enjoys an ideal coastline with many beautiful beaches. However, the beach really put on for tourists has been too little, also, far from the city center. Phu Yen has many landscapes, monuments, the two interesting highlights in need of investment to upgrade for operating commensurate with their potentials are bathing beaches and the scenic relic clusters of Vung Ro- No-number Ships, Mon beach – Dien cape, Da Bia mountain”. Agreeing with this point, Mr. Pham Manh Ha, Director of Vietnam Luxury Travel Limited Company, a unit with the strength of international tourists, said, “Phu Yen enjoys an idyllic and traditional beauty of a coastal countryside. Sea and islands in Phu Yen province is a valuable resource block, attracting tourists travelling by ships.
Mr. Tran Le Bao Chau, Chairman of Forum for Medium and Small Tourism Company, suggested: Phu Yen has advantages in cuisine, seafood specialties and street rustic dining with regional characteristics, so it’s essential to orient investing into this product. The local travel agencies, besides attracting tourist groups, also need to develop a common product to “attract” tourist individuals in periodic schedule…
At the conference, PPC Deputy Standing Chairman, Mr. Le Van Truc, noted the comments of the participants. In the coming time, the PPC, Phu Yen tourism sector will have concrete plans to invest in developing tourism, striving for the goal of becoming one of the tourist centers in both the region and the country.
