Workshop to consult Action Program of Family Violence Prevention at the 2nd time

(Cinet)- Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism as well as United Nations Population Fund organized a workshop to consult the second time about implementing Action Program of Family Violence Prevention up to 2020 in HCM City.

The program aims to take some opinions form some representatives of the ministry, agency and locality in the Southern Vietnam in order to fulfill Draft of inspection for Program of National Council about Family Violence Prevention.

Tran Tuyet Anh, head of Family Department said that inspecting and implementing progress of the program would contribute to supply some information and help manager to give some decisions in order to fulfill proposed target.

According to Phan Thi Thu Hien, United Nations Population Fund in Vietnam, Vietnam has not been given a national index about family issue. Therefore, it is necessary to fulfill the index to inspect some locals about family violence prevention.

The workshop should also give some measures of family violence prevention to help people understand more about violating activities in family.
