Outline to prevent family violence up to 2020

(Cinet)- Decision No.2413/QĐ-BVHTTDL on July 20, 2015 of Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism promulgated outline about regulation to prevent family violence up to 2020.

The outline comprises two parts:

Part 1: Base to build regulation

Part 2: Content

In part 1: the outline relates to foundation and some lessons to build activity of family violence prevention.

Since building Law; some agencies of the Government has built and implement some program to prevent family violence in order to increase more awareness of people and community.

Regulation creates more condition for the Ministry to enhance more effectiveness to connect and create more share from the organizations of the Central to the locals; associate to implement some activities in family violence prevention; develop some investing resources to ensure some targets in National Action Program to family violence prevention.

From experiences of some nations such as Australia, Switzerland, Canada, the outline built general regulation and responsibility form some agencies and ministries from the Central to the local to family violence prevention.

Regulation relates to schedule, content and responsibility from some agencies and organization to family violence prevention nationwide. The regulation applied for some ministries and ministerial agencies, people’s committee carry out to family violence prevention.

About associating regulation: Complying with legal regulation about family violence prevention; some international pledge about family violence prevention; ensuring to participate into some activities to family violence prevention; not having an influence on function, task and activity from some agencies and organization.

About content: Building, fulfilling legal document in terms of family violence prevention; informing some policies of family violence prevention; receiving and solving some family violence; collecting and inspecting some activities of family violence prevention.

About associating activity: exchanging some opinions and supplying some information according to requirement of the hosting agency; organizing some activities to participate into family violence prevention; implementing some international cooperating programs.

About responsibility, the Ministry hosted and directed to implement regulation and arranges for building some plans, programs and project to prevent family violence; hosted to establish and organize some activities and develop network of family violence prevention.
