PANO – As many as 1,250 students from 18 universities, 17 colleges, 21 vocational schools and 1 center will take part in the secondyoung talent competition for students majoring in culture and arts, tourism and sports. The news was released at a press conference held by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on June 23rd in Hue City.

Accordingly, participants will compete in the four categories of fine art, artistic performance, tourism and sports during the two-day event held in three places: the Thua Thien – Hue province’s Center for Culture and Information, the Sports Palace, and Huong Giang Hotel.
At the press conference, Assoc. Prof. Dao Manh Hung, Director of the ministry’s Department of Training and head of the organizing panel, held that the competition aims to improve the occupational skills and morality of students as well as discover young talents. Additionally, it is to review the quality of training establishments, as well as select the outstanding among teachers and trainers, he added.
