Photo for illustration. (Source: thethaovietnam.vn) The ASEAN traditional music festival 2015 titled “Connecting the World Heritage” will take place in Thanh Hoa province from August 1st-8th. This is a part of the National Tourism Year program to promote Vietnam’s cultural heritage values and celebrate the establishment of the ASEAN Economic Community later in the year. It will provide a good chance for ASEAN artists to exchange experience and perceive quintessence of the regions traditional music. The event is expected to draw the participation of 12 artistic troupes from ASEAN nations and partners. A part from official performances, participating art troupes will present their performances at several destinations in Thanh Hoa and join a seminar on ASEAN traditional music./.
