New TV programs to promote Vietnamese tourism

PANO – The Ministry of Culture Sports and Tourism (MOCST) and Vietnam Television (VTV) signed a cooperation agreement on September 27 in Hanoi to promote the Vietnamese tourism.

VTV will also launch a series of new TV programs, entitled VTV Trip (Travel with VTV) from September 27 with four different versions, introducing a diversified view of Vietnamese tourism to TV audiences.

The 10-minute and 30-minute programs, airedat 8:30pm on Sundays on channel VTV1,will present information, analyses and comments on policies, experiences and tourism development trendsin Vietnam and the world. The 30-second and 2-minute programs will be broadcast on weekdays on channels VTV1 and VTV3, introducing tourist destinations in Vietnam to viewers.

Notably, viewers will have an opportunity to see backstage stories of people, who take part in the programs.

Along with VTV Trip, the photo exhibition “Vietnamese Smile” is held from September 27 to October 2 around Sword Lake, Hanoi. The exhibition displays nearly 200 photos by 13 photographers, featuring emotional moments during trips across the country.
