NDO – Travelling to Moc Chau district in the northern mountainous province of Son La on the days approaching Tet (traditional lunar New Year) holiday, visitors are attracted by valleys sparkling with the white colour of plum flowers.


Plum trees are grown everywhere in the district, including in the gardens and front yards of every household. Plum flowers surround the roofs of houses, creating a romantic and poetic backdrop. White flowers boast their pure beauty.
