VietNamNet Bridge – Ha Noi Football Club have agreed to a one-year loan contract with SHB Da Nang’s Nguyen Thai Sung in preparation for the new football season.
Team coach Nguyen Duc Thang told Viet Nam News yesterday, Nov 10.
Thang said the deal was agreed by the club and SHB Da Nang, but the contract value has yet to be revealed.
“As scheduled, Sung will don the jersey of Ha Noi Club to play in the Vietnamese League 1, the lower division of premier V-League, after a medical test in Ha Noi soon,” Thang said.
Sung was the first Vietnamese young footballer to win a three-year scholarship at Qatar’s Aspire Academy for Sports Excellence in 2009.
He was on the bench for years when he trained with SHB Da Nang’s U19 and U21 or reserve squad of the senior team in V-League.
Some sources from the SHB Da Nang said Sung’s skilful play did not match long ball and teamwork.
The Da Nang-born had a one-year loan contract with the Second Division Dak Lak last year.
The left-footer said it was a chance for him in a new team away home.
“I try to do my best to show my love of football and skilful play at the new team. It’s also a challenge for me in a tough football season,” Sung said.
Sung will team up with Nguyen Quang Hai and Ngan Van De in Ha Noi.
