(Cinet)- Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism promulgated Decision No.3716/QĐ-BVHTTDL about promulgating Plan to organize Sen village festival 2015 on 125 year anniversary of president Ho Chi Minh president’s birthday.
The festival aims to meet demand about enjoying and creating more cultural values of people; enhancing a campaign “All people unite into building cultural life” in the industrialization and modernization. The festival will be organized from May 15-20, 2015 in Vinh city and some districts of Nghe An.
Many programs will take place at the festival including the flower-offering ceremony at Uncle Ho statue in HCM square and the opening ceremony of Sen village in HCM square and HCM statue.
Festival of lion dancing and gong will be held at the festival at HCM square.
“Songs from Sen village” festival will be organized in some localities in Nghe An. Some programs about performing arts from some professional troupes; fine arts exhibition, photography in cultural center; organizing film week about Uncle Ho and exchanging some film making groups in Vinh city, Nam Dan; organizing ethnic cultural festival in the Central Nghe An: showing ethnic fashion; introducing traditional festival and organizing traditional folk games.
