Nhan Dan Online – A choir from Fribourg state, Switzerland will perform in Hanoi on October 8, according to announcement of held by the Performing Arts Organisation Centre under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Music lovers in Hanoi will have an opportunity to enjoy some special performances featuring the life of Swiss people.
Additionally, the choir will also visit some tourist destinations and join some charitable activities in southern provinces.
Established in 1952, the choir is considered as one of favourite art troupes in Switzerland with its folk culture performances.
The choir has toured many countries around the world and participated in a series of cultural events and important political events in Switzerland and other countries.
The art programme is expected to be held at the Tuoi Tre (Youth) Theatre in Ngo Thi Nham Street.
Free tickets for the event can be acquired at the Performing Arts Organisation Centre at 32 Nguyen Thai Hoc Street.
