Vinafood signs 200,000 ton rice export contract to Indonesia

The Vietnam Southern Food Corporation has signed a contract to export 200,000 tons of five percent and 25 percent broken rice to Indonesia, said the Vietnam Food Association.

Delivery will be made from October to December, according to the association.

Businesses have so far singed contracts to export six million tons of rice, very close to the association’s target of 6.2 million tons this year.

By mid September, Vietnam has delivered over 4.4 million ton rice at FOB (Free on Board) price yielding US$1.9 billion.
