National park launches zipline

The newly-lauched zipline will draw travellers during flood season.

Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park in central Quang Binh Province has just launched a zipline.

The zipline runs across the Chay River. Visitors can choose to reach Dark Cave on the opposite bank or drop into the cool, fresh water. During its trial run earlier this month, the zipline attracted thousands of tourists.

Quang Binh Province authorities hope the zipline will draw adventurous travellers during the months that caving tours shut down because of floods. – VNS
