| A scence in a film to be screened during the event (Source: Tuoi Tre newspaper) The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has assigned the Department of Cinema to coordinate with relevant agencies to organize film screenings from August 19th to September 5th on the occasion of the 69th anniversary of the August Revolution (Aug. 19) and Vietnamese National Indepdence Day (Sept. 2). Accordingly, films on the August Revolution and National Independence Day and Vietnam’s Sea and Islands, produced by MTV LL Co. under the Central Science and Documentary Film Studio. will be shown. For the occasion, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism assigned the Department of Cinema to coordinate with the central Quang Tri Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, to open a film screening to mark the 60th anniversary of Vinh Linh Special Zone Traditional Day (Aug. 25) in Vinh Linh district, Quang Tri province. Four films, including “Vi tuyen 17 ngay va dem” (17th parallel: Days and nights), “Chung mot dong song” (On the same river), “Luy thep Vinh Linh” (Vinh Linh steel rampart), and “Lang chai Vinh Moc” (Vinh Moc fishing village) will be screened./. |
