60 art performances in Hanoi to mark great festivals Related image(s)
(CPV) – As many as 60 art performances will take place around the capital, for it’s people, to mark the 69th anniversary of the August Revolution (Aug. 19) and National Independence Day (Sept.2). Activities started on August 19 in almost every district, with a variety of art forms such as play, folklore singing, circus, dance and song. Art troupes from the Cai Luong theatre in the city, the Circus Troupe, the Cheo Theatre and performing artists from neighboring provinces and cities will perform specific sets to praise and give love to the homeland, the Party and beloved Uncle Ho. The performances aim to raise national pride, pay gratitude to previous generations for their contributions to national defence, and to encourage people of all walks of life to build and develop the capital and the country./. |
