(VOV) – The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) has reached a cooperation agreement with the Japan Football Association (JFA).

Pursuant to the agreement signed on July 11, the two sides agreed to cooperate and mutually support each other at regional and international football forums, and in training their national squads.
They will share experience in the management of top tournaments, like J-League and V-League and other domestic tournaments, in addition to legal issues involving the sport.
At the signing ceremony, VFF President Le Hung Dung expressed his confidence that that with continued support from Japan, the Vietnamese football squad will develop into one of the top teams in the league.
For his part, JFA Daini Kuniya expressed his delight at the fine development of bilateral relations between JFA and VFF.
As a special guest at the signing ceremony, Ambassador to Vietnam Hiroshi Fukada spoke highly of fine relations between VFF and JFA and said that the two countries have paid much attention to sports exchange.
He said he hopes that that the Japanese and Vietnamese football leagues will further develop, raising Asia’s prestige in sports.
