In the evening of June 29th, the art program on the anniversary of 2 years re-establishing Phu Yen province (July 1st, 1989-July 1st, 2014) was held by Sao Bien troupe at April 1st Square (Tuy Hoa city).
With the theme “Phu Yen-our homeland-heading towards the beloved sea and islands:, the art program has two parts: the first includes 8 singing and dancing about Phu Yen, with very popular pieces about the land, like “Tuy Hoa rice grains” (by Vinh An), “La Hai in April” (music by Hoang Tho Huy, poet by Xuan Tinh) and pieces just recently composed, like: “Tuy Hoa, a young city” (by Tan Phat), “Way to Van Hoa highland” (by Cao Huu Nhac), the festival in my homeland” (by Thanh Hai), “Come to Phu Yen” (By Ngoc Quang)…The second part includes 7 singing and dancing items about the beloved sea and islands, including pieces so much touching for Vietnamese people, like “The Nation is calling your name” (music by Dinh Trung Can, lyrics by Nguyen Phan Que Mai), “So much close, Truong Sa” (by Hinh Phuoc Long) and the favorite ones like “Rain on Truong Sa” (by Xuan An), “Vocals on the remote islands” (by Thanh Binh), “Island offshore” (by Quynh Hop)…
According to musician-elite artist Cao Huu Nhac, director of Sao Bien troupe, the art program “Phu Yen-our homeland-heading towards the beloved sea and islands” provokes the emotions towards the homeland of Phu Yen-so much determined and solitaire in the war time, so much progress in constructing and developing, simultaneously asserting the great love of Phu Yen people in particular and of the entire nation in general for the sea and islands-the sacred blood and flesh of the Nation.
