On July 10 th, member of Party Central Committee, vice secretary of Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, Nguyen Thi Thu Ha received a delegation of Granma newspaper – the voice of the Communist Party of Cuba, led by its editor-in-chief Pelay Terry Cuervo, during its working visit to Vietnam. At the reception, Ms. Ha congratulated achievements in Cuba over the past years, especially in education, health and bio-technology despite of difficulties. She said that the Vietnam – Cuba relation has developed in the fields of economics, culture, education and health. Ms. Ha also expressed her hoped that Granma newspaper exchange information and professional with Sai Gon liberation newspaper (the agency of Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee) as well as Nhan Dan newspaper (the central agency of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam) to further cooperation between Vietnam and Cuba, and between Ho Chi Minh city and localities in Cuba. Editor-in-chief Pelay Terry Cuervo expressed his pleasure before special relation between Vietnam and Cuba. He said after the sixth congress of the Communist Party of Cuba, many new policies on socio-economic development in Cuba have implemented. He said he hoped that Vietnam and Cuba will incessantly promote cooperation, and Ho Chi Minh city will create conditions for Granma newspaper and newspapers in Ho Chi Minh city to have conditions to share experiences in information and communications./.
